Casey & Steve – Wedding Weekend

It’s here!  Casey and Steve’s wedding weekend.  We cannot think of anything more perfect for a new year’s eve wedding than an invitation created with shimmer and glitter paper.  To give the guest something to open like a gift, the custom pocket was closed by a wax seal featuring a swirl pattern; a subtle nod to 1. the fact they live in the windy city” and 2. the wintery time of year in which they wedding would occur.

You know I feel a colored envelopes always indicates there is something special, but this time it was the calligraphy in silver ink and presented on a diagonal in a very oversized font that was the BIG indication of something spectacular.

The bride said the guests were so excited when this arrived in the mail.  Several wrote back that they were going to “dressy fancy” to match the “fancy invitation”.  What a compliment for us; we LOVE IT!

The wedding day stationery features swirls and the Birdie Buffet will be fabulous in shades of white, blue and silver; even some of the candy will sparkle!  Come back next week to see those great features.
