DNC – Charlotte – Sights from the convention

Well, well, well….

The city of Charlotte is buzzing, and we’re not just saying that because we saw a man dressed like a mosquito.   Melissa and I closed the store and took the light rail from our store to Uptown to take part in the historic event.   We were supposed to be gone for two hours, but were so mesmerized we stayed almost four only returning for evening appointments.

All we can say is, regardless of your beliefs and stances, there is someone Uptown who shares those same beliefs so, go join them!  While uptown you will also see vendors selling everything imaginable (and some things you would not expect like Obama puppets), more media than ever before (over 15,000) and a gaggle of police officer (an unofficial source said 2000+ at all times), this is a sight you don’t want to miss.
