Duke vs Carolina – Divided in Sports, United in Love

This couple met at a party and despite him

attending Duke and her Chapel Hill, they fell in love!   They knew their wedding had to feature their favorite places so the ceremony was at Duke Chapel and the reception at Carolina Inn.   To secure the Chapel, they along with other couples, had to camp out  for several day with no guarantee. It became a family affair, with the bride’s sister getting in line early and the couple taking up the later shift after driving from Alabama where their both continuing their education.  Their efforts of tent sleeping paid off!

When it came to colors, the bride to be won; Carolina Blue with accents of Grey.

The invitation suite, letterpress printed in two colors on double thick paper, featured an illustration of the Old Well; a signature landmark on the UNC campus.

Ther ceremony program featured an illustration of Duke Chapel.

The seating chart featured a fun illustration of the couple and their pets.

The same illustration was on a door hanger for their hotel room.
