Katie & Mike – Fallin’ in Love!

Katie and Mike came to us asking for a fall inspired invitation.  They wanted something simple, colorful, and unique.  We were up for the challenge.  Our first design was simple; Katie wanted more.  With the colors of purple, orange, deep red and golden yellows she wanted something that would showcase those colors.  She asked one of our designers to add lots of leaves and some swirl, but make sure the design didn’t look “bulletin-boardish”.  After a good laugh, the design was created.

Next up, the programs.  Created as a tri-fold, but without the leaves since the Catholic ceremony held at The Cathedral of Saint Patrick, commonly referred to as Saint Pat’s, was formal.  To add to the sophistication, beautiful double face satin bows in purple and burgundy were tied by hand around each one.  Here they are all boxed, and bagged for the bridal party, ready for pick up by the bride’s Aunt who was in from Cleveland.

Finally, for the reception at Byron’s Southend, table numbers and as a surprise for the couple – buffet labels and Mr. and Mrs. signs for their chairs and pictures.

The biggest surprise was the call from the bride yesterday to thank us for everything and to tell us how beautiful the stationery was.  We couldn’t be happier!
