Sarah & Craig – Languages + Language + Language = Love

Sarah and Craig came to us as a referral from Todd Murphy of Todd Murphy Events and Stems.  They were marrying at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte in two weeks and needed table numbers,  menus and escort cards.

As with all couples who come to visit us we asked quite a few questions.  From these questions we determined that this was a very interesting couple.  We encouraged them to include some of these elements in their wedding stationery; after some thought, they agreed.  They also decided to add programs after seeing some of our custom designs.

The couple met in Philadelphia.  She is a banker and he a video game developer (yes, guys be jealous).   She is from Ghana; he from the States.  They have lived all over the world – Philippines, The Congo, Ghana and the UK.   Each table was named for a place that had lived.  Each menu was personalized with each guest’s name and the program had a biblical verse written in three, yes, you read correctly, three languages:

Twi – a Ghanaian language
Hebrew (plus a transliteration)
English

With a color palette of shades of purple, the paper was lavender, the ink purple, the ribbon grape and the couple was tickled pink!
