Save the Date Saturday – Sarah & Scott

Scott actually came into the store before they were engaged; his idea to take advantage of a great sale we were having.  I thought, this poor woman, how painful, but I just smiled and chatted with them.  They were so sweet and obviously in love.  As they left I thought, surely the engagement is coming soon; he loves her.

A few weeks later they took a trip to Charleston and on the marquee of a venue was “Sarah will you marry me – Love, Scott”.  How romantic BUT this Scott had not done that.  It was for another couple with the same names!  How crazy?

Feeling like no time was better, this Scott proposed immediately, without the ring.  He had the ring, but it was in Charlotte.  She said yes, they laughed and came home engaged was immediately given a beautiful ring.

Then, they came into the store and told us the story.  Talk about laughing out loud – yes, that is what we did!  We could not believe it!  We were thrilled and could not wait to start working with them.  So far we have completed their Save the Dates, Invitations, Guest Information Cards and Response Cards.  We actually finished all of that in 2012; yes, they are planners and we loved that about them.  Well, that and the fact that they both have dimples and their initials, once married, will be the same – SL.
