Ships Ahoy…It’s a Boy – Baby Shower Invitation

Jo, the mom of one of the Southern Boys, came in for us to design baby shower invitations for a first time mom.  The design requirements – navy and white, nautical and sophisticated.  We showed three designs and here’s the winner:

One Friday after the invitations had been sent Jo came in apologizing – we were perplexed.  She was on the hunt for favor boxes and didn’t think of us.  We laughed and showed her some of the ten custom shapes we have available and she choose one of the gable styles.  She asked us to create a more whimsical sailboat for the boxes and we did.  Here they are:
