Thursday Tip: Enjoy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday.  It  is embraced regardless of religions, ethnicities, color and all other differences people have.  It unites families and friends and makes everyone stop for a day to simply enjoy, reflect and count your blessings.

Use this day to be with those who love you and want only the best for you while you recount the things for which you are thankful. 

I am personally thankful for God’s blessings and care during the good times and bad, a supportive family and friends and the ability to work where my talents are appreciated and respected.   I am thankful for the ability to forgive those who I counted on who were not there for me and transgressed against me.

From a business aspect, I am thankful for the wonderful customers we have had, the dutiful staff, our fellow Southend retailers, the vendors in the wedding and event industry who have referred us often and the relationship with our suppliers who allow us to create beautiful and creative things.

Now, I am off to eat turkey and cranberry sauce, and most importanly, to enjoy Thanksgiving!
