Wedding Wednesday – Bald Head Island

Jessica’s mom and fiancé met with us to discuss the wedding invitation. All other communication was with the bride who lived in Philadelphia and we never met.  They all agreed that a vintage map and some nautical elements should be incorporated into the overall letterpress design.

The script text was letterpressed over a letterpressed custom version of a map created with a vintage look. The custom pocket was printed with a nautical star reminiscent of a compass and the response card featured crossed oars paired with a monogram. All items were printed on soft textured, 100% cotton paper. A teal backer was added to the invitation and the response envelope was the same color giving the pocket a small, but important pop of color.

We enjoyed this family so much and know their wedding was beautiful!
