Wedding Wednesday – Brandi & Chris

Brandi, our first Three Little Bird member to get married, did so on October 20.  Her invitation, which she designed of course, was thermography printed in two colors and featured two shimmer paper backers.  The response card was a one sided post card and the guest information card featured her wedding website since there were multiple loding options in the area.

Melissa was a maid of honor and I, along with some other Three Little Birds (actual and honorary) members, were guests.

The ceremony was held at Fairbarn in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Brandi, of course, is very creative, so the wedding had several DIY projects that were gorgeous.  The favor, chocolate covered pretzel rods, a gift from her next door neighbor who is a chocolatier.

Here are both sets of parents and some other details from the wedding.  Isn’t that little couple cute?  They were the greeters and they did a fine job!

Brandi loves chalkboards so they were used in a variety of ways including the seat chart, table numbers and signs describing the yummy food.

The sweets were a family labor of love.  Her mom made the wedding cake and cupcakes and her grandfather made the red velvet cake.  The gluten free cake was made special for the mother of the groom to enjoy!

In the end, Brandi was a beautiful bride, Chris a handsome groom and everyone had a blast!
