Whitney and Greg – Purple & Green Wedding
A tale of a little of this, custom, and a little of that, William Arthur.
Whitney came to us as a referral. She and her military fiance, were planning a July wedding at The Ritz-Carlton. The colors – purple and green, the inspiration, damask. To make things interesting, the fiance was deployed to the Middle East, the bride planning on moving across the country within months and the mother of the bride, Jill, living in the Caribbean part of the year. No worries for us, that’s why there is email and telephones! So, Whitney wanted the Save the Date to incorporate the colors and design element as well as a whimsical script font. Mission accomplished!Next up, the invitations. Jill came to town as Whitney’s cross country move date moved up, and we talked wedding invitations, custom and album. They chose a beautiful pocket invitation from William Arthur, the colors and design elements were the same, but all used quite differently. A couple months after their visit we ordered the invitation and did all of the proofing via email. The envelopes were dropped shipped to an aunt who beautifully addressed them and then had them delivered to us. The invitations were sent to us for stuffing and mailing.
Lastly, the programs, all decided via email and telephone. This time they decided to use the colors, but replace the damask for a tree since they are so prominent in the Urban Garden, site of the reception. We completed, printed, and dropped off at The Ritz-Carlton. That weekend was so busy we didn’t get to see the couple or Jill, but heard everything was beautiful. Even though we spent little time together we so enjoyed working with this family!
