Last week we had six different event planners come by, three at one time, allowing them to even catch up a little. We LOVE working with event planners and the biggest reason is that in our first meeting the bride seems much more relaxed because she has an industry expert with her.
Yes, though we hate to admit it, stationery can be overwhelming and confusing. One thing we do is educate, without being pompous or condecending, and really work to determine what is important. With a planner, we typically know a little about the concept, colors, budget and even a little about the bride and groom even before they walk into the door. This allows us to be completely prepared for the meeting and have relevant samples put together for review.
Now, don’t get me wrong, we frequently work with brides without planners and that process goes well; it just moves along a little slower. So, if you have a planner – bring her or him and let’s get going!
